A:AnswerThere is a section in the instructions that tells you to turn the built in exhaust fan. It stays in one position if you have vending to the outside of your home. However, if you don't then it serves as a odor control exhaust fan (has a charcoal filter) and it keeps the bottom of the unit from getting soaked by steam.
