• yes it is ventable through duct work or without through a charcoal filter.

• The ME17H703SHS can be set up to vent outside from the rear or top of the unit, or filtered air can be recirculated into the room from vents located in the front that are concealed from view. Thanks for choosing Samsung! Ms. Samsung
