No, it is a little higher than 15.25" (it is 16.5" high). Shouldn't be hard to block it out from the wall, though. You could use masonite or plywood in different thicknesses that would work well. I had to do it for mine for the same reason.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The SMH1816S is 16-15/16" high, so you wouldn't be able to mount the microwave flush with the wall. You may be able to use a filler block or strip to install the mounting bracket flush with the back splash tiles, however. Thanks for the question, Ms. Samsung
