• Chromebook runs on Chrome Operating system where any regular computer runs windows or Mac. Chromebook doesn't need bulky softwares like Microsoft office suite. All of those softwares are in cloud.

• The only difference that I really noticed is it has the google apps on it. I bought this for my kids, all they do is play games on it, so it is perfect for them. If you want to do word or excel, you will need a regular computer.

• A chromebook has the Chrome operating system. Basically it gives you access to the Google Chrome browser. You can get to your documents and use documents that are in the cloud. A normal computer would have a full Windows operating system on it that allows you to install additional programs, run different browsers and many other features.
