A:AnswerHi Lola,
The RF18HFENBSP meets the minimum DOE (Department of Energy) guidelines, but it isn't Energy Star certified based on the most recent September 2014 standards.
Thanks for your interest,
Ms. Samsung
A:AnswerThis happens due to the condensation drain line being frozen and the water overflows into the cabinet. It's a notorious issue with Samsung french door units. The back panel in the fridge can be removed and, using a hair dryer for a while or just leaving the unit turned off, you can clear the line. There are a couple videos on Youtube showing how to do this and get a replacement piece to help prevent it from happening in the future. I just did mine a couple days ago.
A:AnswerMay still come in platinum stainless which I saw in someone's house. Very nice. Not quite as shinny but looked much easier to keep clean. Not sure still sure if Samsung still offers it anymore.
A:AnswerHi Sean,
The RF18HFENBSR ice maker is designed to produce up to 3.3 lbs of ice per day and store up to 5.5 lbs.
Thanks for your question,
