• I have connected it to my Samsung 55" television. the only complaint I have is that you have to order separately for a hanging device to put sound bar on the wall.

• Hi Dave! You can connect the HW-S40T soundbar to your TV via Optical cable as well as Bluetooth if you prefer a wireless connection. You should have no issues receiving audio from your soundbar while streaming from your Apple TV device. ^Gina
