Q: QuestionIf I chose to use a digital optical cable to connect. Will this sound bar pair with my Samsung TV remote 4K 6 generation TV. As well as my Direct TV remote for Volume control? The TV only has 2 HDMI ports so using the optical cable is ideal for soundbar.

• A:Answer Works perfectly well pairing with my Samsung 4K. Voice sync is no issue. I use it with ROKU and volume is controlled by the remote. Not sure about DIRECT TV remote. Be sure to select D.IN mode in Soundbar Source menu (right side of soundbar or its remote control).

Q: QuestionWe purchased this soundbar and we hooked it up to our tv. The problem is we cannot Sync it with Direct TV because the model does not exist in the Direct TV list of Samsung models. Does anyone have insight into this or a workaround? HELP!

• A:Answer Soundbars are completely separate speakers from the tv speakers, as long as the signal is making it to the soundbar (usually from the optical or HDMI ARC port in the TV) it should work.
