A:AnswerYou can program your Directv remote to control this devise. Go through the "settings" & "remote" menu items and it gives you an option to select which brand of audio device you have. You then scroll through the different brands until you find Samsung. Then it asks the model number. This model number wasn't in the list, but then it will just try different codes until one works. It programmed my Directv remote on the second try. It took all of about 2 minutes to do this. Now it works perfectly. My single Directv remote works my Vizio HD 4K TV and the Samsung Sound Bar all in one operation.
A:AnswerMore then likely yes, Hard to tell what tv you have. But if you have an Optical out on the TV this will hook up to it. Otherwise you can get a RCA to 3.5mm headphone jack to hook the sound bar up with.
