- Answer 3D mode is a mode in sound quality. It can be set by tapping the centre button on its remote (in the middle of prev and next buttons).

- Answer I connected mine using the supplied optical cable. I can turn off the sound bar and still use the builtin speakers. When I use the sound bar I just turn down the TV to 1.

- Answer Yes, I have a Samsung tv and you can use the tv remote to operate the speaker system. It can absolutely be muted as well.

QuestionHooked it up. Bluetooth works great. But i have an off brand tv and it doesnt have the opt hookup. Hooked up an hdmi from the bar to the tv. Didnt work. Can i get the hdmi to work?

- Answer have you tried toggling between the soundbars sound sources? ("bluetooh" vs "d.in" vs "aux" vs "hdmi") also try hooking something else up in that same port on your TV to check if it actually works. Im thinking your HDMI port might not work?

- Answer Absolutely. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with this sound bar. I have it installed with a 65" Sony TV in a 18' x 22' room and couldn't be happier.
