Q: QuestionDo the refrigerators manufactured in 2020 still have the same Ice Maker issues or did Samsung address it? I saw they put out a recommended service fix the previous year so seems like that should be done to all new models going forward as they are built?

• A:Answer I wish I knew that. I just bought my refrigerator two weeks ago and within seven days of installation the icemaker stopped working. Now I’m just waiting to hear how Samsung might be willing to accommodate me as they say in their emails.

Q: QuestionCan someone tell me how to move this on wheels so I can clean the condenser coils at the back? The leveling pad keeps turning but wouldn't move up from the floor so the fridge can move on wheels.

Q: QuestionWe bought this less than 3 years ago. About 6 months ago, the ice maker started freezing. We melted it and started from scratch repeatedly. We have changed the freezer temp from -5 to +5 (allowable range) and the ice maker freezes regardless. Suggestions?

• A:Answer Call Samsung (1-800-SAMSUNG) and say you’re calling about a fridge then press “1” for “ice maker problems” and they’ll send a tech with a kit that fixes the problem. Changes some computer components and adds some heating elements from my understanding. Should be free from what I’ve heard. If you’re curious about the special “cooling issues” menu option after the ice maker one you’ll find out all about that in a couple years. Good luck!

Q: QuestionProbably a stupid question, but we got our refrigerator delivered today and it has a sticker in the top right corner. The Geek Squad installer said to leave it there, but I’d like to remove it. Will it peel off cleanly, or will it leave a mark? Thank you!

• A:Answer If it is the SAMSUNG sticker, I looked at it and decided not to remove it. You might be able to use a hair dryer to heat it and peel off. Any residue could be cleaned with Goo-Gone. I had to set the freezer at -4 to get the ice maker to produce a full bin of ice. Good luck!

Q: QuestionCan you fill up the internal water pitcher with your own water, say from a reverse osmosis system. Then use the external water system to fill a glass with said water. Or will it always fill up the water pitcher using only the water line?

• A:Answer I haven’t tried using my own water. I suppose if you fill the pitcher and place it back, it might work. The sensor should know that it is full and not automatically refill from the line. Good luck!

• A:Answer The flex zone is separately adjustable. It's intended to keep temps in between the main refrigerator and the freezer. It works OK but I'd prefer to have that space split more traditionally. I use the Flex zone as refrigerator space so the extra partitions between sections just reduces available space.
