Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No we don’t have a problem with wet or soft ice cubes. You might want to look in your instruction manual to see if there are any solutions provided. We do find that the ice cubes do splatter when the come out of the device and into a cup. I think the loss of usable space on the inside door because of the ice maker, is much more of a problem. I might think twice before buying this model again and just get the ice delivered to a box in the freezer compartment.
