• A:Answer Hi Donna, Let me get the information on when the rinse aid needs to be filled. When the rinse refill indicator lights up on the control panel, refill with rinse aid. Only use a liquid rinse aid. Powdered rinse aid will clog the compartment opening and cause the dishwasher to malfunction. Have a great day. Melardo

• A:Answer More than likely there's cabinetry between the granite and top of the dishwasher so the securing bracket would be screwed into that wood. At least mine was. If by chance it cannot be secured to the top, there is an option to secure the unit via side-mounted screws (on both sides) into adjacent cabinetry.
