“Is there any way to get the door of this unit to stay flat when opened? When I pull out the empty tray to load dishes it just slides back into the dishwasher because the door is sitting with too much of an angle.”

eventually it loosens up - took about 18 months for me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just bought this have the same issue. We believe it’s the rubber behind the bottom panel. When we took the panel off it seems to stay open better but not completely flat. After playing with the tension of the rubber it definitely affects the tension on the door. The rubber probably helps with noise so not sure it can be removed. We do have a service call not sure what they will say. Called Samsung they also said probably install issue.

The door hinge is too tight and when I pull the rack out the dishwasher door angles back up again at about 30°. But they cannot help me with this because again they’re blaming the install. Really great customer service. :/
