A:AnswerAccording to the user manual, 2 inches or more on the back. No buffer needed on the sides, but be aware that the doors open out, so make sure to have clearance in the front area for the doors to open. See pages 16 and 17 of the user manual (https://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/202003/20200304094050460/SBS_RS5300T_DA68-03958J-01_EN_MES_CFR.pdf).
A:AnswerThe answer given by Samsung rep and other person would seem to be bogus or else Samsung has truly regressed in technology in the past 12 years. When the fridge is set up and leveled at the front, the wheels no longer have full weight making it difficult to roll the fridge out to access the typical water supply valve located on the wall behind the fridge... Could potentially damage your floor if you try without first backing off the levelling adjusters which are under front bottom edge, which is likely not possible for some people to perform. I particularly find the Samsung explanation disturbing because the 12 year old Samsung fridge this one replaced was a simple counter clockwise
twist to remove and twist clockwise to replace the filter. No need to turn off water supply was directed, and never a problem for estimated 20 or so filters changed.... I have not yet reached the need for first filter change but definitely report how it works out when I do, cause it doesn't make sense for Samsung to make this procedure more difficult.... Or perhaps it could be true to provoke possibly more service calls???
A:AnswerI have R.O. water hooked up directly to the refrigerator and just don't put a filter in. The change filter light is on all the time, but so what?

A:AnswerHi there,
The freezer door bins on this refrigerator model are designed for 2 only. It is not intended to have a third freezer door bin.
Have a great day!

A:AnswerHello there,
We understand how important it is to know the installation requirements before placing a refrigerator in your kitchen. For this Samsung 27.4 cu. ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator: A water supply connection is only required.
If your refrigerator location is not close to an existing water source, a licensed installer or plumber can typically run a water line from a nearby cold-water supply, such as under the sink or through cabinetry, to reach the refrigerator safely and properly.
Thank you!
^Joshua
A:AnswerMost of the time it’s normal.
Condensation prevention: The inner divider has a heat loop or a refrigerant line that warms up to prevent frost and condensation from forming between the two compartments, especially on humid days.
Hope this helps.
A:AnswerBlocked Airflow: Overpacking the freezer with food can block the air vents, preventing cold air from circulating properly.
Fix: Reorganize items to ensure clear space around all internal vents and fans.
Dirty Condenser Coils: On most refrigerator-freezer combinations, the coils (located on the back or bottom of the unit) dissipate heat. If covered in dust and debris, they can't release heat efficiently, causing the freezer to work harder and underperform.
Fix: Unplug the unit and use a vacuum with a crevice attachment to clean the coils thoroughly.
Faulty Door Seal (Gasket): A worn-out, torn, or dirty door seal allows warm air to leak into the freezer, causing temperature fluctuations and frost buildup.
Fix: Check the seal for damage and clean it. You can test the seal by closing a piece of paper in the door; if it pulls out with little resistance, the seal may need replacing.
Incorrect Temperature Setting: The thermostat might be set too high (too warm) accidentally. The ideal temperature for a freezer is 0°F (-18°C).
Fix: Verify the temperature setting and adjust it to a colder setting if necessary.
A:AnswerHello there,
Thank you for asking. Let's get the details you need.
No, the fridge won't fit as the width would be 35 7/8 inches.
Have a great day.
