The water nozzle fires backwards at an angle so water doesn’t drop right in so we use a red solo cup and pour into water bottle but this is a small price to for an absolutely wonderful fridge that I’m so happy with!

While a water bottle fits in the dispenser (with you holding it), it is VERY difficult to fill a water bottle with this refrigerator. The stream of water comes out very strong and points to the back of the dispenser area. This makes bottles with small openings impossible to fill and ones with larger opening hard. I've had to buy a pitcher to fill to then fill the bottles. I would probably not have bought this fridge if I had known this ahead of time. A pitcher will fit as will - again with you holding it -- it will not fit on the "shelf" of the dispenser.
