Q: QuestionWe have a 2017 version of this model. The icemaker is trash. It constantly froze up and it never kept up on ice for our family of 5. Lately, pieces of metal and plastic came out with the ice! Now it doesn't work at all. Has this been fixed yet?

• A:Answer Nope. Mine did the same thing. I had it fixed under warranty and then got into the habit of pulling the ice basket out and chipping off ice every week. But I missed one week and now it is stuck, frozen in place just like before. Obviously a bad design.
