“I bought a Samsung Sound bar but the instruction booklet told me I had to have an android device in order to get it to work so I took it back. Is this true for all Samsung sound bars? You have to have a Samsung phone in order to get it to work?”

• I did not need any device other than my TV and the soundbars remote to set it up for use. I know you can connect it to your Android device and use that device as a secondary remote control for your soundbar. So NO, you do not need an Android device to setup this soundbar.

• The Samsung soundbar connects to both Android and Apple via the blutooth connection. IPad and Android phones can both be played through the Samsung Soundbar.
