QuestionMy boyfriend is hard of hearing and we're disappointed that this Soundbar is not louder. I hear most of the sound coming from the long bar. But when I put my ear up to the bigger box, I don't hear much. But it does vibrate. How can I get more volume?

- Answer I also found some issues with the sound and discovered that the big box is for bass sound only and needs to be placed next to the sound bar. This did help. If you want true Sensurround sound apparently you need to add one or two wireless speakers behind you as well. I have my soundbar on a console directly under my screen (which hangs above), then the woofer is on a small stand next to the console about 2 feet away. They say if you can get the woofer over to a corner of the room it would be even better. That having been said all the sound is still directly in front of you. I still have to pump the volume up to about 50 or more for dialog but when music comes on it seems too loud. I may invest in a small speaker for behind us since my couch is in the middle of the room and I do have a few feet behind it where I can mount it on a wall or something.

QuestionWhere I should I place the subwoofer to get the maximum sound. Behind me? Right now I have it to the side. I also was disappointed that I needed to use the cable to connect the soundbar, as the BT Pairing didn't connect. Very pleased with the quality.

QuestionMy desktop computer has an HDMI OUT PORTAL, head phone jack & USB ports. Can I use 3.5mm audio cable to headphone portal or am I just better off with bluetooth? If using bluetooth will I sacrifice quality sound & functionality? Can I add rear speakers?

- Answer Hi Mark, you are best off using HDMI as it will give you the best sound quality with advanced formats. You can attach a SWA-8500 rear speaker kit to the soundbar. Thanks, ^Scott

QuestionWe have a 55" Samsung Q60R tv purchased in 2020. Will the HW-T60M soundbar attach directly to the bottom of the TV? Is hardware for that included? Also, can you play a Bluetooth capable Ipod through this system?

- Answer 3.1 means three speakers (left, center, right) and one subwoofer. As you can guess, 5.1 has five speakers and one subwoofer.

- Answer Hi Griff! We do recommend connecting your Xbox directly to your TV via HDMI (use the HDMI 2.1 port if your TV supports HDMI 2.1), and connecting your HW-T650 Soundbar to your TV via HDMI eARC. ^Gina

- Answer Hi Stevienontech! With the soundbar connected to the TV using HDMI ARC, all content played on the TV from streaming devices or external devices will play audio out of the soundbar. The HW-T650 will not send audio to any devices, meaning your headset would need to connect to an available port on the TV if you would like to listen to audio through a device other than the soundbar. ^Tim
