The water supply hoses that come with the washer are about 5' long. If your washer is installed more than 4' from the water supply, you may need to purchase longer hoses. Your Best Buy Appliance Associate can help you find alternate hoses. The drain hose that comes factory installed on your washer is approximately 6' long, and can be extended by purchasing another section of hose, then attaching it to the original hose by clamping them together with a steel sleeve. Samsung recommends a vertical discharge of no more than 9', with a maximum of 13' in any direction, based on the pump's capability. - Ms. Samsung
