- Answer Greetings! Let us get you the details you need clarification on this Samsung wall oven model. We recommend using a circuit breaker for this wall oven model. When the wall oven is connected to a 208 Volt box, its KW rating is 3.7, it will need a 20 Amp dedicated circuit breaker and when the wall oven is connected to a 240 Volt box, its KW rating is 4.9, it will need a 30 Amp dedicated circuit break. QuestionI see the oven has four wires. Is a 10/4 wire the best to use here? Metal clad 10/4s are difficult to find so are there suitable alternatives?

- Answer Hi there, SamA. Yes, 10/4 wire can be used. However, you can also use a 3-wire. Please see pages 13 to 14 of the installation manual under the "Electrical Connection Options Chart" section of the manual for more details. - Answer Greetings! We are glad to answer your question about the cleaning process on this Samsung wall oven model. There are two types of cleaning processes, Self-Cleaning and Steam-Cleaning. The self-cleaning oven uses extremely high temperatures and it is recommended to remove the wire racks, broil pan, broil pan insert, all cookware, and, aluminum foil. Nothing should be left inside the oven. Steam-cleaning is a lighter version of self-clean and will require 10 oz of water to produce steam. This water is placed on the bottom of the empty oven (hidden bake tray). All accessories including the wire racks should be removed (except for the hidden bake tray - the tray that covers the baking element). I have shared this model's user manual link. - Answer The specs show "30 amperes". See the attached screenshot. Why does the reply from the "Samsung Ambassador" say "The amperes needed for this wall oven in a circuit breaker is 20 Amperes"? Is it 20 or 30?

QuestionMy oven is 2 months old & I put it on self-cleaning for the first time last night. It put off so much heat the surrounding cabinets could burn your hand. It was very possible a fire might start. Anyone else aware of this?
