You have to have subscriptions to any of these but Netflix, Hulu, DirectTV Now, Amazon Prime, YouTube, and many other apps come installed on the TV. You can also install any apps that are not preinstalled and you can also access the internet although key entry can be a pain although, most often, you can plug in and use a USB Keyboard instead of the remote--using that is possible if you have an exceptional level of patience. When you chose an app like Netflix, you still have to sign in which means you still have to pay Netflix. The tv will remember your log in data so you only have to sign in once--at least that is the principle. We have had to reset a time or two and resign in.
