QuestionOn the Samsung gas cooktop model NA36N7755TG can the WIFI module be removed? It juts out too far and my granite backsplash limits me to less than an inch of clearance behind the back edge of any cooktop. I do not need a WIFI option/accessory.

- Answer Yes it can. You have to remove the entire top, disconnect the plug and insert the blank they have in the box.

QuestionWhat down draft do I use for this cooktop? is there a plug that goes in the hole when the plastic wire holding tab is removed to install my GE downdraft?

- Answer I am not sure on the downdraft. The only word of caution I would give you, is right at the top is a "WiFi" transmitter, that may not allow you to put a downdraft right up agains't it. I have included a photo from their installation manual that should explain it. QuestionI removed the wifi module on the NA30N7755TS cooktop in order for the cooktop to fit on my counter. There is no "blank" in the box to replace it. Does BestBuy carry the "blanks"?

- Answer Hello Jat, this unit does not have simmer control on any of the burners. The right rear is a simmer burner but there is no simmer control on it. ^Rosi

- Answer From building code perspective, you do need one. It is up to you if you want one or not. They sell retractable vents but the wifi module might interfere.

QuestionIs there other ways to connect the WiFi device in the back. I had 1 1/4 full granite splash installed behind the cooktop and had to disconnect the device so it doesn’t hit the granite piece. Any input on other ways to connect the device under the cooktop

- Answer I have the same question. Seems like an obvious solution to just move the antenna to the bottom or side of the unit. An extension cable and tape might work. Would love to be able to purchase an extension cable. Any idea what the name of the connector is?

QuestionWhat exactly is the difference between the two black samsung cooktops other than the price NA36K7750TG vs NA36K6550TG ? I notice that BestBuy carries both but does not differentiate about why one of them is more expensive? Can someone explain this.

- Answer one is black steel, the other is stainless. also one has a 22k btu center burner, the other is 19.

QuestionWhat is the overall measurement of the unit (36 in gas cooktop)? We are trying to convert from electric to gas but are having trouble with the cutout size (33 7/8 x 19 1/8 clearance 5 in. Min.) fitting new cooktops. Where is the gas connection located?

- Answer Hey, this seems to fit perfectly a standard 36" cutout for a cooktop. The gas line is right near the top right corner of the cooktop if it was installed and you were looking at it from the front. QuestionThe existing cutout is 35" x 21". Is this too large for this cook top since its cutout size for the Samsung is smaller?

- Answer I am not sure, I have included a picture from the install manual, I hope it helps. You may need to do some sort of block support under it because the edges aren't going to have much to hang onto. Wouldn't be a big deal, just a couple trimmed down 2x4's would work. Hope that helps

- Answer YES, Cooktop comes with instructions and diagram for converting for propane use. Less than 10 minutes required to covert the unit. Works great on propane.
