- Answer Hi Cindy, We appreciate your question about the speed setting the washer has. This Samsung washer model uses Samsung’s “Fuzzy Control” automatic control system. When you select a wash program, the machine will set the correct temperature, washing time, and washing speed. It may appear that this Samsung washing machine has 1 speed but has various speed set automatically depending on the wash program selected. Leo

- Answer Ive washed throw blankets, a comforter, a king size fleece blanket and toddler blankets. No issues. Just depends on how thick and big it is, use extra high water setting and didnt put more than half a loads worth of space for a blanket. If comforter i only washed it by itself. Its just a take a risk type situation.
