A:AnswerNo, you can't use another pedestal other than Samsung. I also tried to use a pedestal I've from an LG washing machine but I couldn't . I guess every manufacturer has its own pedestal model to use with their appliances .
A:AnswerYes, it is normal. At first I didn’t really realize what High Efficiency meant; but I think we found it. I think I read it also uses less electricity!
A:AnswerModel DVE45M5500P. The last digit of the model number indicates the color, "P" for platinum

A:AnswerThere is no option to change the temperature of the rinse cycle unfortunately. I just washed towels on hot and they came out cold. The temperature light goes out when the rinse cycle starts. I never really paid any attention until you mentioned it. What's the point of washing clothes in hot water just to douse them and spin them vigorously in cold water? Defeats the purpose and can ruin your clothes that are delicate to temperature . So out of a 25 minute quick wash. They got 8 mins of hot water and the rest cold! Unbelievable
A:AnswerHi Julie, There are a lot of possible causes when it comes to leaks. You can use this link (https://bit.ly/2OhtmLp) to help figure out why the washer is leaking and how to stop it. ^Jecca
A:AnswerWhile I doubt that an older model would match up I would suggest just building a 4" concrete pad for the machine if you have it in a basement. This fits any washer as a fraction of the cost. On an upper level I would consider a raised wooden platform. Not designer but functional.
