• BE, I measured mine at 59", It was difficult to get an exact measure but 59" is real close.

• That is a very important question BE! If you go to this link (https://bit.ly/2EUxePd) and download the User Manual, page 12 has a diagram with all the dimensions, including how much clearance the lid will need. ^Jecca
