• A:Answer I don't know. Consider, that if you stack the units, you may not be able to reach the dryer controls on top. We did not buy a base - only stack kit. Wife can barely reach the upper controls.

Q: QuestionI have a very tight area to put this in. Width is not an issue. Depth is. I only have 30.5 inches back wall to the front. How much of a gap is needed on the back for the vent?

• A:Answer If you use a flexible vent, you can probably get it an inch or so closer. I would allow at least 6 inches, unless the vent does not need to bend (goes straight into wall).
