does this tv have a device to plug in a Sony head set? null

It has a headset plug however I could not figure out how to work with my headset. But I have a cable box and my headset advised to plug directly into the cable box and that has worked for me.

There is a 3.5mm jack on the back of the tv; however, it does not have volume control.
