A non smart tv would be more preferable and since you have no cable or satellite, I would recommend a converter box with an antenna and/or even get a DVD player for media/movie playing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.For my money, the Samsung UN40H5003AFXZA is what I'd go with. It has a great 40" picture w/out all the bells and whistles. If you wanted to step down to a 32" Sharp has a great one at Best Buy for under two bills. Neither has all the smart features you'd be wasting your money on w/out internet. Just grab a digital cable antenna for about 12 bucks and you're good.
