• I have, and the image is scaled well, looks really good in fact since over the air isn't as compressed as over cable and dish, I've been happy with it.

• Yes, I have tested this TV with an over the air antenna and it works great. It is an RCA indoor antenna that sits on the floor next to a window. Picture is clearer than when I have used cable service.

• I did the first couple of days till I could get a HDMI cable & box. It will work but, It just doesn't do it justice.
