“Why not 5.1? Will it play a true 5.1 surround sound? Why only 4.1 and not 5.1, is there no center channel? Does it have to simulate surround sound then? Is the 42" vizio with 5.1 channels a better product?”

• It doesn't have a center speaker and to get a surround effect the front speakers are on either side of the center bar. So, you get a surround effect but missing the center speaker doesnt give a 5.1 effect. Vizio 5.1 has a better surround effect.
