“Does the TV have a timer function to use as an alarm clock? My current Sony TV has the ability to set a time of day for the TV to turn on, what channel it will tune to when turned on by the timer function and how long to keep the TV on. I use this feature as an alarm clock on the TV in my bedroom. Does this Samsung TV have a timer function? Does it have a sleep timer to automatically shut off after a certain number of minutes?”

Has a sleep timer for sure. Don't think it has an alarm clock function
