Q: QuestionI'm confused about the designation 9.1 vs. 5.1. Is this model discontinued? I can't find it on Samsung website, just 5.1. j8500r. Should I buy the 9.1 or 5.1? I want the best sound for my money. How many speakers are housed within sound bar?

• A:Answer Hi, Hope it will anser your quotation. Actually both are sound bars are the same but with two different names of 9.1 and 5.1. I bought in a bestbuy store 9.1 and they give 5.1 since both have the same number of speakers (9) it works good for me and the price right now is very good $499. It is really worth it.

• A:Answer I don't know about 9.1, but it's definitely not 5.1, not even 2.1. Forget about virtual surround, you won't even get a two channel stereo. It gives good rich sound which seems to come out of a single speaker. But the speaker itself looks great. Maybe that's what 9.1 stands for. Would not recommend.
