QuestionIs this washer water efficient? I don’t want to buy a water hog living in a drought-prone state.

- Answer Bought this machine for mom. She likes it a bunch. It is a High Efficient machine. It uses minimal water, electricity and makes it so you don't need to use as much detergent as older non-HE machines, so you save a lot all the way around. It's got a 5.2 cubic foot LARGE drum so you can put large loads. Because of that, again, you save wat er r, electricity and tile as well as detergents. I think it will pay for itself in many ways, that's wi pulled the trigger on this model after almost two months of obsessed-like research. The only drawback is it's a little wider- bigger (I think) than other models mom has to have a step stool to reach in to get clothes out from the the deep drum. Elegant and quiet, Has an automatic self cleaning cycle after so many wash loads.

- Answer This unit has 13 wash cycles. Play around with it. Power it up and position it to different cycles and each setting changes the time of that cycle. Just look at the blue digital readout it shows the time it will take. IE: quick wash is the shortest. I think its 35 minutes. Most the other settings will take over an hour, but hey, it's a BIG washer, so less overall time being less loads. The individual settings will change on the display and see how long it is going to take. The variables about the time are if the clothes are lightly siled or heavy soiled, hot water/cold water, extra rinse or extra spin cycle, Normal , bedding, etc

- Answer I'm not sure if there is a setting on the machine for this, but you'd probably need a couple of "Y" or "T" connectors with shut off/on -open/close shut positions to "FOOL" the machine to take in hot water thru the cold water intake. And then manually switch it back to the cold intake after you're done needing hot water to the sink. Just explain this to the guy at the hardware store and he should be able to get you set up. Of course I hope you know that these connections will have to be easy access. I've not fully read the manual but you can also call Samsung customer service. The number is on the machine and in the owner's manual.

QuestionI am considering buying the 7750 washer in “Fingerprint Resistant” black stainless steel. The store model was absolutely covered in fingerprints! Is there something I could apply to the machine at home that would help avoid this problem?

- Answer Depends on where you bought it. I bought mine from Best Buy -free delivery in some areas that includes set up and calibrating it. I was going to buy it from Sam's club and they were going to deliver it, but I'm not sure what company was going to do last mile delivery.

- Answer Yes it can connect to wi-fi, but on this model it is only for alerting you that the cycle is complete (done) or for troubleshooting error codes. It's all in the manual. You first have to download the Samsung "Smartthings" app. Full Instructions in the owner's manual. It's not hard, if I can do it, you can too. The next model up is completely operable from the app, but that model is pricey. Over $1,100 just for the washer.

QuestionCan you just do a Rinse cycle. Or do you have to pick one of the wash (which includes a rinse) cycles. I like to do a final rinse where I put the Softener in.
