QuestionHow much water does this use on normal cycle?

- Answer Not much. If you have a small load it is fine but for a normal size load the deep fill would be your best bet at least that is what I have found. It doesn't use any more water than my front loader did which was only 2 yrs old when it bit the dust. This washer is great.

QuestionSometimes the water doesn't even cover the clothes. Is this normal? It seems odd, as sometimes it more than covers them. And I'm using the NORMAL setting - not different settings. I can't find anything in the owner's manual about this.

- Answer Pick a load type that allows the deep wash mode. Not all wash modes allow deep wash (more water) like permanent press or heavy. Normal wash mode does not allow deep fill. Also it sounds like you are putting too many clothes in for new washers. This will wear out the washer and your clothes. The EPA changed how much water is allowed in each load. So if you are comparing the water level and how many clothes you used to be able to wash. It will not be the same. You end up having to do twice as many loads thanks to the EPA. Hope this helps.

QuestionHello. Just like to know the duration of time for the quick wash setting? I have a front load washer at the moment and it just seems like the 26 minute wash is a long time. Not sure if this is a standard time frame for all washers for this setting.Thanks

- Answer It's a high efficiency washer. It uses a sensor to tell how much water to fill - so no more washing a small load on the super large setting. The first time I washed in mine I made sure to wash clothes that had mud on them so I could see how clean it got them, it got red mud off of a white t-shirt and blue jeans, as well as the grass stains from the hems of my jeans.

- Answer You sure can, AL! You can press the "Start/Pause" button at any time during the cycle to pause it. The washer will not drain or resume the cycle until it is restarted. ^Jecca

QuestionWhat does UR mean on washer?

- Answer We have only had this washer for 2 years and now it’s unbalanced on EVERY LOAD. Tried recalibrating it and it works for maybe one load, then the UR code comes on and there’s a tremendous banging sound. NOT good.

- Answer Yes you can use pods. However you never put them in the detergent compartment as they can clog it. You just toss in 1,2 or 3 depending on your wash size. I personally don’t recommend them as in some cases the pods don’t dissolve completely and the plastic can melt into your cloths.

- Answer All you have to do it touch the start button to stop/pause it. That unlocks it and you can open the lid. You will hear it unlock. Then touch start again when you want to re-start it. This washer very simple and user friendly. I love it.

- Answer I just contacted Samsung support online, and maddeningly, no, there is no way to turn it off (unlike most of their models). Or, to put it in Samsung-speak: "Hello, NOLA3. I do understand that you are seeking a way to turn off the sounds associated with your Samsung Top Load Washer with Active WaterJet.
