“My virtual flame doesn't change intensity with heat settings like the videos show. Samsung said that is not right, but repairman said it is only like that for the Chef collection (he also called Samsung). Can someone with this range confirm? Thanks.”

Same on mine. It is true the chief collection is the one where the virtual flame has different levels. But you didn't have to pay the extra money for that either. This model has one virtual flame height. It's no big deal. Still a great range.

Once I received your question I went and tried out my stove to see about the virtual flame. Mine just turns on the pretty blue light with no variation.
