Q: QuestionCan somebody answer me how to increase or decrease oven temperature when the oven is on already? For example the temperature is 400 F* and I want to decrease it to 350 F* Thank you

• A:Answer I'm happy to help with this, TheB! If the oven is already set to a temperature, and you want to change the temperature, you'll need to press the mode button ("bake","roast",etc) first, then input the new temperature. Q: QuestionDoes this, or any other kitchen gas range, have automatic gas shutoff if the flame goes out or doesn't light to begin with. TY

• A:Answer Most (if not all) new gas stoves have a thermal sensor that (if not bypassed by holding in the knob) prevents gas from coming out unless it reaches a predetermined temperature. That is why when you turn it on you have to hold in the knob for a second or two. Holding in the knob allows the gas to flow even though the temperature sensor has not gotten hot enough. When you release the knob, if the fire is not lit and keeping the sensor hot the gas shuts off to that burner.

• A:Answer We’ve had this model since 2015, 3 members in our household. I try my best to take good care of the stove as we use it. I’ve only deep cleaned the grates about 4 times but they still look nearly new (so far). Definitely no nicks or deep scratches. Holding up great so far.

• A:Answer You do not... should not,,, remove the middle (or any) grate in order to use the griddle. In fact, the griddle 'clicks into' the center grate and is therefore held firmly in place.

Q: QuestionOur Samsung range will not hold a consistent temperature in the oven. It will heat to the proper temperature and the oven flame will go out, as expected. But the the temp drops by 40 degrees before the flame will come back on. Temp sensor has been changed
