Can you use cast iron pans null

I'm from Louisiana and use black pots on this range as well as my other glass top I had. As longvas you're careful when putting the pot...any pot, on this range and removing it properly, you shouldn't have any problems with scratches. I also use soft scrub on my glass top once a month. Other then that, I just use soap and water and a little heat from the burners to clean any stuck on food or grease.
