- Answer I clean houses and I find that Endust makes stainless steel look beautiful. The stainless steel wipes work as good too but they have to be Weyman brand. Wipe, then buff.

QuestionAuto shut off for burners?One review says that the burner will shut off if no pot or pan is placed on it within a few minutes. Is that correct?

- Answer Thanks for the question. Samsung's induction range cooktops are designed to automatically detect the presence of compatible pots and pans, but the radiant cooktop models, including the FE-R300SX, do not have this type of feature. They do, however, have an energy-saving feature that turns the oven off automatically after a set period of time. - Ms. Samsung

QuestionOven does not workI recently purchased a Samsung range for a house we were remodeling. When we went to use the range, the top burners work fine but the oven controles and elements did not come on. We had a contractor who was working at the time check it and he did not see any loose wires and said that the wiring was correct. This weekend we were replacing the outlets and switches and when shutting off the power we discoverd that the breaker marked RANGE also powered 4 outlets. I'm thinking that the power source going to the range is not 220. Would the burners work on 110? An electrician was the one who did the wiring in the kitchen--or so I was told!!!

- Answer It could very well be that the stove top is 110. It should be very easy to check your wires with a multimeter. If you aren't comfortable, ask a friend. There are a lot of people who are comfortable doing this. You need 2 hot wires (usually black and red) going to the range along with a Neutral wire (usually) white. You should also have a ground (green).

QuestionWhat is the amperage reting on Samsung electric ranges.We are considering a new Samsung electric range. We want one that has a convection oven in stainless steel. We looked at the specs of the FE710DRS and it is rated at over 57 amps - we have our current range hooked up to a 40 amp circuit so apparently we can not use that model. What ranges in your lineup are compatible with a 40 amp circuit.

- Answer I use a soft damp cloth with mild dish detergent. Don't let it air dry or the range top will have streaks. Use a soft dry cloth, like a kitchen towel, to dry the top and I will look great.

- Answer No the two front burners are double burners, if you are using a small pot turn dial to the left it will only use the small part, If you have a big pot, turn it to the right, and it uses both the inner and outer burner together.

- Answer It also has the regular 3hr self clean. The steam clean is only 20 minutes.

- Answer Yes, two actually. It has a cooking timer that turns the oven off when it is done and also just a plain basic kitchen timer. The cooking timer has worked to perfection on everything so far with mine. Everything comes out great according to package instructions.

- Answer Yes, you can hang a towel off the handle of the oven door. We do it all the time and haven't had a problem.

QuestionCan I cook 2 cookie sheets at once?I love that the oven capacity is so large. I'm new to cooking and am wondering if I can bake 2 cookie sheets at the same time? I know I can't in the oven I have now, so I'm not sure if I need a convection oven or if this one would allow me to do so and they would bake evenly. Thank you!

- Answer The alum half sheet baking sheets will not fit 2 to a rack, but there are 2 racks, and you can cook 2 at a time that way. The oven is very accurate, and usually there is no problem using 2 different levels.

QuestionCooktop only 5 days old and oxidizing?Stains won't come off.Hi we just purchased this cooktop and for no reason there are silver fleck all over one of the burners.It is an interior thing not exterior because no cleaning products or scraping will eliminate them.What is going on?

- Answer The silver flecks you see are coming from the pots and pans that you are using on the stove. They are melting from the metal and depositing on the cooktop. This is my biggest complaint about this stove, it gets too hot. You will need the white stove top cleaner and a lot of elbow grease. I have also started using a sponge scrubby with the cleaner. I have to do mine all the time.

QuestionUsing the fast boil elementIs there a separate control for the fast boil element or do you just turn the burner on high?

- Answer The fast boil is on the same knob that controls that element. One half of the turn is 1 thru High regular and the other half is 1 thru High fastboil. Two elements have the fastboil feature.
