“if you don't have 3d glasses does the picture still look normal? I'm not familiar with 3d tv.”

• You must use the 3D glasses for the 3D effects.. The screen has overlapping video with slightly different perspective that only the 3 D glasses and decipher for your eyes.. Without the glasses in the 3 D mode the screen looks out of focus

• You can watch regular TV on it. For 3d you would need the 3d glasses and a 3d compatible blu ray player to watch 3d. Most blu ray players have 3d pass through but you can also watch dvd and regular blu rays on it.
