• If you leave the sound bar on, then the TV remote will control both the TV and sound bar. Then you only need the sound bar remote for tweaking the settings.

• Our Samsung Smart TV remote also controls sound bar. It turns on and off with TV. and it also controls volume. We had problem in beginning when TV remote would not turn on sound bar. But, then we turned off 'Bluetooth Audio' option and turned it back on. Since then it is working perfectly.

• You don't need a separate remote it comes with one but u will end up using ur Verizon remote as long as u set it up on tv it will turn off and on with the power of the tv
