“Does type of internet service matter? Does the type of internet provider make a difference in how the smart tv functions work? We live in a rural area and do not have a cable internet provider. Instead we receive internet via a radio tower that is luckily directly behind our house. We have no real trouble with internet access for our computer work and rarely have trouble using Netflix through our bluray player. Our tv service is through DirectTV. Just wondering if anyone else has this sort of access and what your experience has been with this tv. Thanks!”

We have Time Warner Road Runner Turbo internet and it works great with this TV. Other houses in our neighborhood have Direct TV and Dish satellite service and don't have any problems I know of. We get good Live Stream on Netflix with our TV. Hope this helps you.
