“Does the screen swivel on the base?”

• No it does not swivel. Be very very careful if you opt to set it up yourself. I am shopping for a new tv because the screws came out of the base, the tv fell and is now junk. It took a year for the screws to come out, so check the base once and awhile and make sure the screws are still there and secure. The tv was awesome, best picture ever and I want another one!
