“On SD TV With Sony and Element I have, both can display the SD (old, standard resolution) in full format (cutting out some display). I tried the Picture's Fit to Screen option and it does not work. Any hint?”

Tony, Without knowing what your source is, it's hard to say. If you have a DVD player or SD cable/satellite box, try changing both devices (the box or DVD player) to 4:3 settings, and then the TV to 4:3 settings. For full screen, switch both the source and the TV to 16:9 or widescreen format. If you need further assistance, try reaching out to the Samsung customer service center.
