A:AnswerAre you by chance watching the TV through a cable box? If so is the volume turned down on the cable box? Occasionally someone in our house will use the cable box volume control rather than the TV volume and we experience what you are describing.
A:AnswerThe ES6100 will indeed offer the ConnectShare Movie feature which allows the TV to play back movie, mp3 and jpeg content from a USB flash drive.

A:AnswerYes. The mount does swivel, but only a few degrees. You want to be careful about a swivel mount because of the connected cables and power cord.
A:AnswerCMR is Samsung's more comprehensive and accurate measure for TV motion clarity. As a company, Samsung does not feel that the Hz of a panel alone is a completely accurate measure of the motion quality that can be produced by the Samsung LED TVs. Thus, Samsung uses three key points to help produce world-class motion clarity:
* Panel refresh rate: Samsung's screen refresh rate significantly improves motion detail and resolution by sampling the image more frequently, leading to smoother, more fluid movement.
* Image processor: Samsung's proprietary image processing technology is faster and more responsive than conventional image processors, as it interpolates intermediate frames to smooth out the image.
* Backlight technology: Samsung's backlight regulates output precisely in synchronization with the screen refresh to lessen the time it is lit, reducing ghosting and motion blur.
The Clear Motion Rate represents all of these features working in harmony to produce stunning motion clarity. The higher the CMR, the clearer and crisper the image will look.

A:AnswerFrom the available information, although this model will offer compatibility with a traditional standard USB keyboard and mouse, it will not offer support for wireless peripherals.

A:AnswerAll UN, PN and LN units (North American Units) will only have support for ATSC/QAM broadcasting systems and NA power systems. Since the NA TVs will not accept a PAL signal or Non-NA voltages, you will not only need a converter for the broadcast, but also for the power if you would like to use the TV in a PAL country or in a different power environment. Unfortunately, I will not be able to recommend a specific converter since Samsung cannot offer support for products we do not manufacture.

A:AnswerUnfortunately, if you are asking why it is not on Best Buy's website, I would not have any idea since I do not work for Best Buy, nor do I have access to Best Buy's Inventory System. It may be a case of your model TV being Sold Out online, and it was just unlisted. I would suggest you contact a Best Buy associate for more details.

That said, I cannot provide any information on the UA55EH6000 since it is an international version and I cannot speak for international versions of Samsung products.

A:AnswerIn order to deactivate the TV speakers, follow these directions:
Menu → Sound → Speaker Settings → External Speaker
This should turn off the TV's speakers and allow you to listen to audio from an external source.

A:AnswerIt strongly depends on your house, how many and type of wall do you have between router and TV. From my experience the wifi antenna in this TV is very good and connection is the same as on my other devices such as tablet.
A:AnswerIt all depends on if the wall mount you have supports a larger sized TV. Although I do not know the model number of your current set, usually a 50" Samsung TV will offer a VESA bracket size of 400mm x 400mm. If that is the case, then you are in luck, since the current generation 55" Samsung TVs use the same VESA bracket size for wall mounting.

A:AnswerFrom the available information, the UN55ES6100 will come included with a standard remote that will have many different buttons that will offer direct access to several of the TV's features (including a number pad, channel and volume buttons, menu buttons and directional buttons).

A:AnswerUnfortunately, I will not be able to tell you which TV is better, since all of the Samsung LCD and LED TVS will be able to display video games with the highest of quality. I would suggest looking for a TV that best fits what you are personally looking for in a device; with features, specifications and within the price range you are comfortable with. I will say that, traditionally, LED TVs are considered premium and therefore will more often then not offer better picture quality and more features.
Additionally, the UN55ES6100, like many of the other Samsung TVs, will offer a feature called Game Mode. Game Mode bypasses some of the TVs processors to give you an almost direct feed from your game system. This will help in the time it takes the signal to travel from the game system to the panel, effectively reducing the time between when you press your action button to when you see the action displayed on the screen, making for more accurate responses.
And finally, here is a quick synopsis of the differences between Samsung LCD and LED TVs:
LCD traditionally uses a CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp) backlighting system that runs across the rear internal portion of the unit to illuminate the LCD panel from behind. This lamp technology enjoys a tremendous following of enthusiasts, and translates into years of enjoyment of an affirmed, reliable and trusted technology.
LED (in this application, it is also known as LCD-LED) is relatively new on the market, and uses specialized versions of the LED lights that have been used for years. It allows LCD panels to be lit either from behind (replacing the CCFLs with LEDs), or from the side using an efficient energy friendly infrastructure that emits light evenly behind the panel in order to illuminate the entire LCD panel equally, called EDGE-LED. EDGE-LED Technology has a few additional benefits in that the design of the LED panel can be slimmer than traditional LCD panels and reduces energy consumption.
LED also has a few additional benefits, such as offering an accurate and natural color, as well as increased performance with black levels. LED is also free from toxic materials, such as mercury, lead or volatile organic compounds.

A:AnswerAlthough there is no AOL app within the Samsung App Ecosystem, you will most likely be able to use the TV's built in browser to author your AOL e-mails. Please contact your e-mail provider for more information.

A:AnswerActually, the ES6150 is a warehouse club exclusive TV. Best Buy will carry the ES6100, which is essentially the same TV, except the ES6100 will have a higher dynamic contrast ratio (6,000,000:1, while the ES6150 has 5,500,000:1) and it will also come with a Universal Remote Control (the ES6150 only comes with a standard one device remote).

A:AnswerAlthough the current generation Samsung TVs will no longer offer a VGA port, there are two other ways to connect your PC or Mac to a Samsung TV for monitor functionality: HDMI to HDMI or HDMI to VGA/DVI/Displayport.
That said, the Samsung TVs do not offer wireless or networked monitor capabilities.
Please note, in the computer's operating system, you will need to set the display settings to either clone or extended view and set the computer’s resolution to match that of the maximum resolution of the TV in order to view your computer’s desktop on the TV.
If your computer offers HDMI out, I would highly suggest using this connection, since it is a basic plug-n-play connection (meaning almost no adjustment is needed on the TV or PC).
HDMI to VGA/DVI/Displayport is almost the same as straight HDMI, but in this case, you will want to connect the DVI end of the cable to the computer (if available) and the HDMI into the TV. This is also considered a plug-n-play connection.
Unless otherwise specified by your computer manufacturer, you will need to connect the computer's audio to the TV with a separate cable (3.5mm jack cable from the PC’s audio output to the TV’s DVI/HDMI Audio input), since most computers do not support audio over HDMI, VGA or DVI.
Thank you for the opportunity to assist you,

A:AnswerIn order to access Captioning, you will want to head into the TV's menu, then into the setup or system sub-menu to access the CC options or to just activate it, press the CC button on the remote control. However, CC is only available via the coax cable since the CC signal has to be sent by your service provider. The CC information cannot be sent via HDMI or other secondary connections from 3rd party devices. That said, most service provider set top boxes and DVD/BD players will handle CC on board, which will then be displayed on the TV as part of the video signal. If your TV is displaying captions, but the caption system is turned off at the TV, then most likely the captions are coming from the 3rd party device that is connected to the TV. Captions are subject to your service provider’s availability. Additionally, the CC option cannot be set to come on automatically when MUTE is activated.
