I am sure you can find something to explain it better than I can, but 1080 is roughly 2 million pixes, whereas 4K is 8 million

A:AnswerGo to your settings menu on your samsung. Scroll to General, then external device manager, then HDMI UHD Color, and turn all ports to on. Once you do that your PS4 Pro and XB1s/x will recognize 4k HDR 60FPS
