After we considered several installation options ourselves, we decided to purchase a mounting bracket that would allow us to mount the connect box behind the TV as we already had a power outlet on the wall behind the TV. Since both my husband and I are Seniors, we decided to have the Geek Squad do the physical installation following our plan; so I didn't actually measure the cable length but it appeared to be about six feet long.
