For what I've seen there is no really noticeable lag in it's, the picture quality is beautiful and it also kind has a set up to run gaming apps like Xbox pass and a couple other ones already built in. But for fair warning if you're interested in buying an 8K their hit n miss on if the master board is good. Cause you could get a bad master board that shuts it off n on by itself. Use this information as well when going forward with purchasing a 8K.

Just make sure remote charges. First one i bought had a bad remote. It only has a charge cable or solar charge. Batteries are internal. I had to return some tv to get a working remote.
