• The manufacturer's specifications indicate this TV has an RF socket which accepts analog signals as well as HDMI digital interface.

• It has a digital tuner. Not sure why they listed it that way. Ours is hooked up to our roof antenna for local channels. It pulls in many digital channels just fine.

• On my Samsung TV which i believe they all work in simliar ways. I connected an antenna to my tv and did search for channels. It is important to know that in order for this to work you MUST be on the TV input. TV will not pick up any channels unless you scan with antenna comnected and on correct input. which is TV.
