Customers highly value the 58" Class TV for its exceptional picture quality, easy setup process, and reasonable price point. Many customers rave about the stunning visuals and user-friendly interface, while appreciating the great value they receive for their money. Although some users have expressed concerns about the basic nature of the remote control and occasional motion blur during fast-paced scenes, these drawbacks seem minor compared to the overall positive customer sentiment.

I was looking to upgrade my other tv and was originally looking for a 55 inch. When I got to best buy the 58inch was the same price and had literally just came out. It was an excellent buy. Nice crisp picture and sleek design. Had no trouble connecting to my Wi-Fi. Works and looks great.

My only problem with the tv is that it would not link up with my Samsung surround sound via bluetooth. I now have an extra cord that shouldn't be required. Otherwise the image is extremely clear and crisp, even the sound from the tv is great when the surround isn't on. Great size, not too heavy, easy to wal mount. Recommend.

I purchased this vidiot box because of the price, figured I would throw it in a bedroom, unfortunately the legs that hold up the tv are so far apart they would not sit on the stand I had in place (I have a samsung 55" on their with a previous model with no problem) so that in turn made me take my beautiful picture Samsung tv in my front room switch to the bedroom while putting this particular model in the front room. (Bigger stand) But I'll tell you this, the other reviewer was right, bad picture quality and even changing settings on tv did not help. Washed out picture, definitely does not have a lot of clarity, and I guess I got what I paid for.
An economical large screen tv with an economical picture quality. No way I refer this to a friend..........or even an enemy.

This TV was purchased at Best Buy for $650. It goes on sale a lot so be patient or ask for the sale price. I asked and they gave it to me even tho the sale had ended a day earlier.
I have a 7000 series 65” curved screen Samsung and we put these TVs next to each other to compare.
This tv did not have ultra black blacks or super vivid whites but I didn’t test the extremes of the advanced settings of the tv. Who does that anyway? Nobody.
I played with the brightness, sharpness, etc... we could get close but not the same as the big curved 65” Samsung.
The screen was still amazing looking tho. Just a little warmer or softer than the better model.
This tv however has 0 ghosting or trailing when watching high def Comcast Nfl football or any other show.
It has the horizontal inputs and outputs on the back exactly the same as my other Samsung many models better. There is no worry about horizontal inputs vs. vertical inputs. The hdmi cables can handle it. (I’ve seen other reviewers complain about this).
Another complaint from many reviewers is the remote. I have 0 issue with the remote. It works perfectly and is awesome. If you want a different remote either purchase one additionally OR pony up for the bigger more expensive Samsung TV that comes with the slick remote.
This TV is awesome. 0 problems connecting to internet. The apps work great. Everything is so easy to set up a two year old could do it. Samsung is the best and this tv couldn’t possibly disappoint for the price. I would recommend it to anyone.

Just purchased this TV a week ago. First impressions are very positive, the clarity and resolution are amazing. This makes my third Samsung TV (previous was 32' and 46'--both still running strong) and this one like the others does not disappoint. I did find a couple of things I believe Samsung could have done better. For one--the lack of a smart remote. The remote I got with my 46in (back in 2009) was better--even had backlit buttons. The one that comes with this TV (see pic) is pretty basic but not a deal breaker for me. The other item has to do with the layout of the outlet on the back of the TV. Samsung mounted the outlets sideways placing more pressure on the outlets to support the cables (see pic). The outlets don't feel that sturdy and we all know what happens when the outlets bend back and forth over time--your TV starts having problems recognizing the outlets and you have to find another one to plug in your cable. They should have at least added a bracket or cable strap off to the side of the outlets to support the heavy duty cables. I an HDMI 90deg NU/R flat adaptor (see pic) to reduce the weight of the cable on my HDMI 1 outlet. I don't know what Samsung was thinking about when they designed the back panel. In any case, I was able to find an option for now because I only have one cable going to the TV (everything else goes though my Yamaha amp-Spectrum box, blu ray, etc). It took me some time to get the wifi setup completed but it works like a champ. The TV itself is great and would highly recommend.

Purchased this TV as a place holder when my Plasma unit refused to startup. I was pleasantly surprised at the picture quality. It's not on par with Plasma as far as dark scenes seem to moire but it's passable. I have not noticed any motion blur in fast moving sport shots as the older LED experienced. Smart TV features are great and the setup is a breeze.

Great Picture, and surprisingly very good sound. Just enough of the basic bells and whistles to make this a very nice TV. I would have liked to have built in BT and the One Remote, but for the price I can live without it.
All in all a nice 58 inch 4k

When I purchased this tv I was skeptical at first. I never heard of a 58 inch tv. But I was quickly happy with my t.v. The picture is nice and clear and the set up is easy. The only thing is no smart remote. But I call Samsung and they sent me one out. So I'm very satisfied.

Just purchased the tv so still very new, will update later on once i use it more. First impressions are great, the clarity and resolution are amazing. This makes my third Samsung tv and this one like the others does not disappoint. The only disappointing thing and the reason I gave four stars instead of five is that it doesn't come with the new smart remote. I reached out to Samsung support to see what could be done to get a new smart remote, and the rep stated that this TV comes with the standard remote, even though the online manual states it comes with the new one. would figure since this TV just came out that it would have an updated remote. other than the remote issue, the TV itself is great and would highly recommend.

We were first generation smart tv owners which required a wifi adapter. We loved our 55" and there was nothing wrong with the picture, but since it was first generation most apps couldn't be added or were no longer supported. We upgraded to the 58" and many of the apps we wanted were preloaded. Love the interface but wish the remote was illuminated.

The TV has a great picture and the smart functions were easy to set up and work great. But the TV ships with a cheap, dumb, non-learning remote control. Not even a cheap learning remote? Really? Come on man.

I have only great things to say about this TV. I really like the dimensions of the screen, as it's more square than wide-screen and make my living room look like a home theater. The resolution is incredible and picture quality is also fantastic. My only gripe is that for some reason this product is being shipped with an outdated remote control model: TM1240A, which is meant for a standard LCD TV. This TV was just released to market this week - so hopefully, Best Buy will be able to fix this issue soon. =)
