QuestionDoes this model have the bridge heating element (where two burners can be joined together to heat a griddle, for example)?

- Answer FYI I have the “bridge” on my current Cafe model and it’s really stupid. It’s not like the space between the burners heats up, it only allows you to use one dial to control both. If you have a pan long enough, you can use w burners on any cooktop. I’m not falling for that gimmick again!

QuestionThere are two ovens; but only one door. Thus, if two ovens are used, they will both lose heat with the door open. Is that correct? Are there two timers? I do like the trade off of a storage door and a single larger oven. Thank you.

- Answer There is one door. However, the top door is hinged to the bottom door. The top door opens to the top half of the oven. There is divider between the two ovens to keep separate the heat. You can control the heat for both top and bottom separately. This Oven is one of the best oven I have seen for a plug into regular kitchen. The induction is much better that any gas of electric stove also. Induction gives you precise heat control. When you turn on the induction the heat to the pan is instantaneous. This is the way to go...

- Answer Hi Mary, Thanksgiving is just around the corner and getting the right oven to do the right job for your bird is needed. A 20-pound turkey will fit the oven in Single Mode - Full Oven. If you wish to use the lower oven, you may have to cut the turkey into smaller portions, but doing so will not allow for stuffing. Leo

Never block this vent or place plastic or heat-sensitive items on it. QuestionThe Samsung website says this range is 36 inches in depth but on here it says just under 29 inches. Please confirm the depth.

- Answer The manufacturers sometime list the height as the depth. The range fits in a 30” opening and standard 25 1/2” countertop depth. The height is 36”. I don’t have the range installed yet, but as a kitchen and bath contractor, I can tell you with 100% accuracy that the depth is not 36” deep

QuestionWhen using the upper oven for convection bake and using the cook timer function, the cook timer starts counting down immediately when the oven starts, there is no preheat timer. Is the oven functioning correctly?

- Answer It’s working correctly. It’s not just the upper oven. You’re correct, there is no pre-heat timer. I actually tested it and it took 6 min to “pre-heat” to the correct temperature. So in effect you would have to increase the cooking time if you use the cook time following the options from the baking settings to allow for the time to pre-heat. Not the best…I set my temp and when the alarm goes off to say it’s up to temp, I set the timer separately. Haven’t tested the delay start yet. Using the smart app to control the oven can help. I’ve only had the range about a month

- Answer Thanks for asking, Jacksgirl! The door on this model is only able to open the top half by itself. To access the lower half, you would need to open the entire door. ^Jecca

QuestionI need the cutout design for the back of the range?

- Answer My counters are 24” deep so I ended up removing the counter spacer I had between the back of the range and the wall that I had from my last appliance and it fits in perfectly. According to the installation guide, if you have more than a 24” depth you will have a gap between wall and range.

- Answer Induction ranges need ferrous based pans so typical aluminum pans dont work on this.

- Answer Great question, mmarl! This model does have a convection fan located in the back of the unit. This fan will automatically cycle on and off when the convection bake or convection roast setting is selected. However, this model also offers standard bake and roast options that do not engage the convection fan. ^Jecca

QuestionDoes the middle rack that separates the upper and lower oven move? Can it be removed to cook something large across both ovens? Or adjusted? Or is it fixed. Thanks

- Answer I'm so glad you asked, elmnyc! The partition in this model can be removed, allowing you to use the whole oven as one. This is called "Single Mode". In "Twin Mode" the partition is inserted creating two separate smaller ovens that can be set at different temperatures. The partition can only be inserted in the center slot. ^Jecca

QuestionI don't see any specifics here about the cookware that supposedly comes with the Samsung induction ovens (except that some cookware is somehow included). What's included?

- Answer There was a submission process with a form and the original receipt which I did. The wait time is three months to hear back and receive my code to go onto the next step in the process. It's been longer than that, and I have received nothing. I am going to try to follow up as we are still in the application time frame.

- Answer Hi Dehydrator. Thank you for reaching out regarding your Samsung - 6.3 cu. ft. Slide-In Induction Range with WiFi, Flex Duo™, Smart Dial & Air Fry if this has dehydrated settings. Regarding your concern, yes there is a dehydrate setting, all you need to do is to follow these steps: 1. First, set your oven to around 100-225°F. Do not set it any higher than 225 degrees. 2. There is no preheating needed before dehydrating. 3. Place the rack in rack position 3 or 4. 4. Dehydrating can take between 4 to 6 hours (or even longer) depending on how thinly you sliced them. I suggest you check this link for further assistance.
